Remember when doctors used to come to your house? Turns out that’s still a thing, and honestly, it makes way more sense than dragging yourself to a clinic when you feel like death.
We’re a medical practice in Dubai that does home visits. That’s it. You need a doctor, we show up. Your apartment, your office, wherever.
Why Would Anyone Do This?
Last month a guy called us at 2 AM because his kid’s fever hit 104 and he was panicking. Instead of telling him to drive across town to an ER and wait three hours, we had a pediatrician at his place in 45 minutes. Kid had a bad ear infection, got antibiotics, everyone went back to sleep.
That’s basically our whole pitch. Medical care shouldn’t be this complicated logistics puzzle on top of feeling terrible.
What’s Wrong With Regular Clinics?
Nothing, really. They’re fine for some things. But think about the last time you went:
You felt awful. Had to shower and get dressed anyway. Drove there feeling worse. Sat in a room full of other sick people for 30-45 minutes. Saw the doctor for maybe 10 minutes. Got a prescription. Drove home exhausted.
Now imagine: Doctor comes to you. You stay in pajamas. Get examined in your own bed. Same prescription. Done in 30 minutes total.
Which one sounds better when you’ve got the flu?
What We Actually Do
We treat normal stuff. Infections, fevers, stomach bugs, migraines, rashes. Chronic conditions that need regular monitoring. Minor injuries. Travel vaccines. Blood tests. IV fluids if you’re really dehydrated.
If you need an MRI or surgery, we’ll tell you to go to a hospital. We’re not trying to replace emergency rooms. We’re for everything else.
Who Calls Us?
Lots of parents. Kids get sick constantly and taking them to clinics is miserable for everyone involved.
Tourists who get food poisoning or catch something and don’t know where to go in Dubai.
Elderly people who have trouble getting around.
Corporate types who can’t afford to blow half a workday sitting in a waiting room.
People who just prefer this. Some folks will pay extra to not deal with clinics. Fair enough.
The Actual Process
You call or book online. Tell us what’s up. We send a doctor, usually within 1-2 hours. Same day guaranteed unless you’re booking ahead.
They show up with a full medical kit. Do the examination properly—these aren’t rushed 5-minute appointments. Explain what’s going on. Treat you there if possible or write prescriptions.
If it’s something that needs follow-up, we check back in a few days. If it’s something we can’t handle, we’ll tell you exactly where to go instead.
Cost depends on what you need, but we tell you upfront. Most insurance companies cover it, though you might have a copay. No hidden fees or surprise bills later.
Does This Actually Work?
We’ve been doing this for a while now. Seen thousands of patients. The feedback’s pretty consistent: people are shocked it’s this straightforward.
Main complaint we get is “why didn’t I know about this sooner?”
One Last Thing
Healthcare doesn’t have to be this big production. You’re sick, you need help, someone qualified should come help you. It really can be that simple.
Next time you’re lying there feeling awful, trying to psyche yourself up for the clinic trip—just call us instead. Save yourself the hassle.
